Handmade painting with natural paint on wood.
12cm x 9,5cm
 
The paint is home made of chalk, ashes, natural mineral pigments (ocres de France) and gum arabic.
The white transparent background is made using chalk, mussel shells, pine tree bark and organic rice flour.
 
Painted on chestnut wood.
The wood is a left over piece from a shingle, harvested in a well managed forest.
Simple suspension system with holes and hemp rope.
The back is just rough, as it was. 
 
It is a product of nature and it can find its way back to nature when outlived.
